Cinema

The cinema is a home of film experiences and stories that speak to the heart and imagination. It takes visitors on a journey from premieres of contemporary hits to timeless Slovenian and world classics. With a carefully curated program, it creates a space for connection, conversation, and shared moments of watching films – regardless of generation. A visit to the cinema is more than just watching a movie – it’s an experience that brings people together in the darkness of the hall and the light of stories on the screen.

Cinema Šmarje pri Jelšah is a modern movie theater that underwent a complete renovation in 2013, when a digital projector, a new screen, and a sound system with digital 2D and REALD 3D technology were installed, ensuring a high-quality cinematic experience.
