Jože Butcher Shop operates at two locations, in Šmarje pri Jelšah and Poljčane, offering premium Slovenian meat and meat products.

We are proud of our Kozjanska sausage, a protected product prepared according to a recipe perfected over the course of decades by ancestors from the Styria-Kozjansko region. Daily, we also prepare fresh dishes such as stews, ćevapčiči, beef steaks, beans, bograč, ričet, and more – all available by prior order, including larger quantities.

Our butcher shop offers a wide selection of fresh meat, cured meats, picnic options, breaded and roasted meats of all kinds, dry-aged beef, tartare, cold cuts, and more. In addition to our meat products, we also offer a range of homemade specialties, including pasta, bread from a wood-fired oven, fresh dough, eggs, teas, desserts, and local wines.
