In the heart of the sports park in Šmarje pri Jelšah, a brand-new swimming complex has come to life — a place for relaxation, activity, and summer joy. Designed for all ages, it offers something for everyone: children can splash and play freely, swimmers can test their endurance, and older visitors can enjoy a calm, easygoing recreation. The pool area features modern changing rooms, restrooms, showers, and a lifeguard station, while the local Gostilna Krpan restaurant takes care of the food and refreshments. In addition to the pool, the complex also brings something new — two padel courts, introducing this modern and fast-growing sport to Šmarje pri Jelšah and making it one of the first towns in the Kozjansko region to offer such an experience.
For more detailed information about the use or rental of the Šmarje swimming pool and padel courts, please visit the pool reception, open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The pool is expected to reopen for the season between June 15 and September 15, 2026.

Children up to and including 6 years: free entry
Full-Day Ticket

Afternoon Ticket (from 3:00 p.m. onwards)

Tickets can be purchased until July 15, 2025 (in future seasons until July 1). Residents of the Municipality of Šmarje pri Jelšah are eligible for a 20% discount.
Children (7–17 years): 60 EUR → 48 EUR with discount
Students, seniors, people with disabilities: 75 EUR → 60 EUR with discount
Adults: 90 EUR → 72 EUR with discount.
Season tickets can be purchased at the Šmarje swimming pool ticket office.

Discount for Tourists
A 20% discount is available to guests who can provide proof of residence in the Municipality of Šmarje pri Jelšah.

ŠMARJE SWIMMING POOL – OPENING HOURS
Daily: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
PADEL COURTS IN ŠMARJU PRI JELŠAH
At Šmarje pri Jelšah, next to the Šmarje Swimming Pool, two padel courts are available. Court reservations require immediate online payment, and play is allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Access to the courts is via a QR code sent to your phone after successful booking and payment. The QR code grants entry 15 minutes before your reserved time, and the court must be left no later than 15 minutes after your session ends. After that, the code becomes invalid.
Rackets and balls are available on-site, but bringing your own equipment is recommended.
Please tidy up equipment after your game, turn off the lights in the evening, and close the doors when leaving the court.
Padel court rates
Daytime (until dusk): 10 EUR / court
Nighttime (under lights): 15 EUR / court
Additional fees:
Lost ball: 2 EUR
Deliberately damaged racket: 50 EUR
Price includes the use of four rackets and three balls.
