Šmarje Wine Cellar

At the Šmarje Wine Cellar, you can enjoy a tasting of selected wines from local winemakers. The cellar is home to the “Trta” Association of Winemakers and Cellar Masters, which has connected 196 renowned local vintners since 1994.

The Šmarje Wine Cellar is located in the historic Skaza House, where a restored vaulted wine cellar awaits. Bottles of Šmarje wines are carefully displayed in wooden showcases made from old barrels and wine vessels, creating a genuine and traditional atmosphere.
