Free Homework Help in the Youth Lounge – Every Thursday
The Šmarje pri Jelšah Institute for Tourism, Sport, and Youth offers free homework help for elementary school students. Sessions take place every Thursday from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, except on holidays and during school breaks.

Friday Afternoon Hangouts in the Youth Room
Friday afternoons are all about fun, socializing, and creativity! Join us every Friday from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM for relaxed hours filled with a variety of activities, including:
Board game tournaments
Sports and recreational activities
Arts and crafts workshops
Every week brings something new – and the space is always open for spontaneous ideas and friendly gatherings.

Safe Points
Safe Points are spaces where you are always welcome.
The Safe Points project, run in collaboration with UNICEF Slovenia by the Local Action Group for Addiction Prevention in the Municipality of Šmarje pri Jelšah, is aimed at children and adolescents aged 5 to 18.
A Safe Point is a specially marked public space where a child can go if they are in distress. The project has been operating in Slovenia since 2003.
